The sacrament of healing

Holy Unction

“Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”

(James 5:14-15)

The Prayer Line at Holy Cross

Holy Cross’s Prayer Line is something we all rely on to sustain our lives in Christ and help with special needs as they arise. It is a place where miracles are as common as in other areas of the church’s life.

The core group has upwards of a dozen members, and requests are forwarded to the Parish Prayer List as they come in.

Ginny Schwartz coordinates the Prayer Line. Send requests to Holy Cross Prayer Line or by way of the church phone, 814-725-4679.
