Lasting Remembrances

Memorial Gifts

A special way to remember and celebrate loved ones, living or dead, or great events in our lives, is to make a memorial gift to the church. All such gifts are recorded in the church’s Memorial Book, which tells the joyful history of the work God is doing among us through the generosity of our benefactors. The church windows repaired and protected; the new kitchen furnished; the sanctuary insulated and rebuilt – all of these were largely paid for by gifts in memory of beloved relatives and friends of parish members.

Anne Bardol is our Memorials Secretary, and gifts may be sent to the parish marked for her attention.

Legacy Gifts

Another good way to honor God and help the church is to remember Holy Cross in your will. Since we have at present no endowment as such, we put legacies toward projects in accord with the wishes of the donor or their families. Such gifts have enabled restoration of the church windows and parish hall roof in recent years, and we are now in the process of planning uses for the gifts we know we are to receive in the future (maybe even a small endowment!).

Our treasurer, Anne Bardol would be pleased to answer any questions you might have about making a gift to Holy Cross in your will, for either a particular purpose or the general support of the church.
